Homemade Beetroot Gel
You will need:
- Beetroot Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Aloe vera Gel – 4 tablespoons
- Tea tree Essential oil (optional)
- Lemon Essential Oil
How to prepare:
- Combine Beetroot powder and Aloe vera gel together in a bowl. Mix them until you get the smooth gel.
- Add in few drops of tea tree essential oil, lemon essential oil, and give it a mix. Transfer the beetroot gel into an empty glass container for future use.
How to store:
Store your Beetroot gel in a glass jar and place it in the refrigerator. It may last up to 30 to 45 days.
How to use:
- Take just a little amount of beetroot gel in your palm and rub it gently on your skin. Use it daily to eliminate several skin problems like dark spots, dull skin, and wrinkles.
- You can also add ½ cup of Aloe vera water or Rose water to this gel and store it in an ice cube form. Use 1 beetroot aloe ice cube daily. Rub it on your skin to shed dead skin cells, shrink pimples and get instantly pink clear skin.
Note: You can use natural aloe vera gel extracted from the aloe leaf if you want to use it fresh. In that case, you’ll need to make the beetroot gel daily since the natural aloe won’t last for long since it has no preservatives. You can instead go for market-based transparent aloe vera gel with preservatives.
